Hairdresser mistook dandruff for head lice?

I am a regular a relatively high end salon, and the stylist I usually go to was not available, so I went to someone different. She was very nice and personable at first, but then after she finished my color, she approached me and said that I have head lice. At this point I was mortified and wanted to run out of the salon. After I left, I went home and had my mom take a look at my hair to check it out. My mom has dealt with head lice on many occasions between my siblings and I growing up, so she knows what to look for. Anyway, she looked and looked and found absolutely nothing. My head doesnt itch, and I myself have found NO indication whatsoever that I have head lice. I do however, have dandruff. I am thinking that she may have mistaken the dandruff for head lice. Now, I am extremely upset about this, embared and I feel that she made a terrible mistake. What should I do in this situation?
